Board of Directors of Inspirit Energy Holdings plc
John Gunn (Chairman and CEO)
Mr Gunn is the founder of the Company and the majority shareholder of Inspirit Energy Holdings plc, the owner of the intellectual property rights to the micro combined heat and power boiler (microCHP) which is in the course of being made ready for commercialisation. Mr Gunn is also the managing director and majority shareholder of Global Investment Strategy UK Limited, stockbrokers. Mr Gunn’s past experience in the energy industry and investment banking means that he is well placed to seek alternative investments and assist the Company with achieving its objectives.
Nilesh Jagatia (Executive Director)
Nilesh currently serves as Finance Director at Inspirit Energy Holdings plc and also currently holds Finance Director positions with AIM quoted Octagonal Plc and Limitless Earth Plc (LME). Nilesh has been involved with several IPO’s and was previously Group Finance Director of an AIM quoted Online Media and Publishing Company for a period 5 years until July 2012. Nilesh has over 20 years' experience, including senior financial roles in divisions of both Universal Music Group and Sanctuary Group plc. He served as a Finance Director for an independent record label that expanded in to the US. Nilesh is a qualified accountant and holds a degree in finance.
Paul Booker (Design & Development Director)
Paul has a wealth of design, engineering and management experience and has worked in many areas of engineering. He is responsible for designing components, setting and evaluating internal testing and the associated analysis as well as designing and implementing internal control systems. He manages the engineering aspects of the business and has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sheffield University.
Nick Stevenson (Marketing Director)
Nick has worked in the building services (renewable and low carbon technology) area since 1993, having started in the sector by successfully developing his own gas boiler business, with overseas manufacturing operations, until acquisition via a trade sale in 2006. The business, an established player in the market with a strong brand identity, achieved a number of industry awards for innovation. During this time Nick also worked with Government on regulatory issues relating to building regulations for energy efficiency. He was New Energy Director at Ideal Heating Ltd from 2008 to 2011 with responsibility for all low carbon and renewable products, including microCHP. Nick holds a degree in engineering and is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers
Paddy Thompson (Sales Director)
Paddy has worked in energy for over 10 years including in the microCHP sector for more than 5 years, gaining sales and project related accounts throughout the UK and Europe for CFCL with the BlueGEN product. He has also represented both the business and the industry in influencing the decision making of the UK Government with regard to support for microCHP from the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) under the Feed in Tariff (FiT). During this time Paddy was also a key negotiator with the Building Research Establishment (BRE) for acceptance of the product to SAP (a requirement for the new build market). Paddy holds ICAEW qualifications as a Corporate Financier and a Charted Accountant while pursuing a career working in the financial sector for James Cowper, Numerica/Vantis and Ernst & Young.
